Why Now:
CRE Dislocation

CRE debt maturities are accelerating over 2024-2026, creating persistent refinancing pressure at a moment when many owners face a wide gap between existing loan terms and where capital is available today. MIC believes this dislocation creates a multi-year window to deploy capital on favorable terms before conditions normalize.

The Monfort Machine

Integrated Platform for Value Creation

The Monfort Machine is MIC’s integrated platform for value creation, spanning private investment expertise, back-office infrastructure, and capital formation relationships. It is the operational engine that powers everything MIC does: sourcing, underwriting, capitalizing, managing, and exiting investments with discipline and repeatability.

Who We Are

Monfort Investment Corp (MIC) is an independent investment platform established in 2024. MIC was founded by Monfort Companies, a Colorado family business rooted in five generations of stewardship, to bring institutional infrastructure, a dedicated capital formation team, and our broker-dealer partner’s oversight to a new generation of LP partnerships.

A boutique multi-strategy investment platform, MIC delivers institutional-quality opportunities across real estate, private equity, energy, and entertainment. We combine the perspective of a multi-generational family office with the rigor of institutional investment management, drawing on decades of opportunistic creativity to invest with conviction, operate with discipline, and build with legacy in mind.

MIC operates through a FINRA/SIPC-member broker-dealer relationship with our broker-dealer partner. All MIC investment offerings are conducted through this regulated framework.

MIC Framework

Why Partner With MIC

When MIC brings a deal to its platform, our broker-dealer partner provides a structured layer of regulatory oversight, compliance review, and operational support, creating demonstrable value for both investors and sponsors.

For Investors

When you invest through MIC’s platform, our broker-dealer partner provides a layer of regulatory oversight and compliance review, giving you confidence in every opportunity you’re presented.

Benefits for Investors

Before you are presented with an opportunity, our broker-dealer partner conducts due diligence as required by FINRA. This review covers offering economics, materials, formation documents, and risk disclosures under FINRA NTM 10-22 and Rule 2111.

This process does not constitute a warranty or guarantee as to the viability of the underlying investment.

Our broker-dealer partner reviews the fees and economics in every MIC offering for compliance with applicable regulations and for reasonableness. This review is intended to support appropriate disclosure — you can see exactly what you are paying and to whom before you commit.

Our broker-dealer partner reviews investor-provided financial information prior to acceptance into an offering to assess whether the investor’s profile is consistent with the investment.

Our broker-dealer partner does not provide investment recommendations and makes no warranty with respect to the suitability of any particular investment for you.

Offering communications that constitute “communications with the public” under FINRA Rule 2210 are reviewed by our broker-dealer partner before distribution. Our broker-dealer partner reviews for general compliance with applicable standards and to identify potentially misleading claims.

Our broker-dealer partner relies on issuer representations for the factual accuracy of underlying material statements.

MIC is aligned in the promote of every deal alongside you, meaning MIC only wins when you win. This structural alignment ensures that every offering is sourced, structured, and managed with your returns as the primary objective.

Where available, MIC seeks observer participation in sponsor investment committees and governance forums. This access provides an additional layer of institutional oversight beyond traditional LP reporting, allowing MIC to better understand portfolio decisions, capital allocation rationale, and material developments as they occur.

The result is stronger stewardship, more informed investor communication, and enhanced confidence that sponsors remain aligned with stated investment objectives.

Because MIC pools capital across investors, you can participate in institutional-quality private placements at lower minimums than direct investment requires, broadening access without sacrificing deal quality.

For Sponsors

When you partner with MIC on a private placement, our broker-dealer relationship seeks to provide compliance oversight and operational support that may help facilitate the offering process and enhance institutional readiness.

Benefits for Sponsors

Depending on the specific facts and activities involved, issuer personnel may rely on available exemptions from broker-dealer registration. MIC and our broker-dealer partner seek to provide infrastructure and support designed to help facilitate the offering process while allowing issuers to focus on their business and transaction objectives.

our broker-dealer partner investors are reviewed by the broker-dealer prior to participation in an offering. This review process may include accredited investor verification, KYC, AML, and suitability assessments, as applicable.

Our broker-dealer partner seeks to conduct due diligence and supervisory reviews in accordance with applicable rules and guidance. Offering materials and certain investor communications are reviewed as part of the firm’s compliance process to help identify potential disclosure issues prior to distribution.

These reviews are part of our broker-dealer partner’s regulatory compliance obligations and are not a guarantee against errors, omissions, or investment losses.

Our broker-dealer partner maintains its own books and records as required by applicable FINRA and SEC rules and may assist with certain investor-related record administration. Our broker-dealer partner may also provide escrow-related services and supports a range of account registration types, including IRA, Roth IRA, trust, corporate, individual, and joint accounts.

MIC’s investment platform gives you access to a larger base of qualified investors — including family offices, Registered Investment Advisors, and others with whom we have pre-existing relationships. This streamlines the capital raise process without requiring the investor relations responsibility that typically comes with a high-headcount investor base.

Where appropriate, MIC may request observer participation in investment committee and governance discussions. Observer rights do not create approval authority or interfere with day-to-day operations — instead, they establish a structured channel for alignment, institutional dialogue, and faster decision support.

This approach strengthens transparency, reinforces accountability, and helps build long-term partnerships beyond a traditional capital provider relationship.

The MIC investment platform aggregates investor capital into a single SPV entity. This structure simplifies capital calls, reporting, timing, and all communications, so you deal with one counterparty, not dozens.
